SUMAMRY:

This virtual machine provides a secure, isolated environment in
which to browse the Web.

It may be run using either the freely available VMware Player
1.0.0, or other fourth generation VMware vPlatform products such
as VMware Workstation 5.5 and Workstation 5.0.

The Getting Started Guide for the Browser Appliance virtual
machine may be found as a Portable Document Format (Adobe
Acrobat PDF) document in this directory, and is included inside
the virtual machine Guest OS environment as well.

NOTES:

This virtual machine includes the latest edition of the VMware
Tools (tools rev 6.8.4, build 18463) with supported Ubuntu Linux
kernel 2.6.12-9.23-i686up, updates to Ubuntu Linux 5.10 through
December 10, 2005, and both Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7 and Mozilla
Firefox 1.5.0.

Power Users may wish to review and adjust several parameters in
the Browser-Appliance.vmx configuration file using a text
editor.
